Print ads are one of the most convincing ways of swaying the buyer to your product, and car maker know this. That is why, we get some of the best print ads ever from car manufacturers trying their best to get noticed. One of the most famous and successful was the Toyota AERODYNAMITE for their Supra. I don't even like the car almost at all, but this is print ad is fantastic.
But later on, both Mercedes and BMW used the same word in their ads to provoke the same kinds of sensations towards their cars, a C63 AMG and 4 Series Coupe. What do you think? Are they doing a pitiful effort by using the word and same kind of message, or are the new versions just a cool interpretation in your book. The only thing I know, is that NO ONE would make a copy of the "Lemon" Volkswagen Beetle ad.

Pretty cheap to ripoff an old ad but they also know that 99.9999999999999999999% of people would never remember that old ad in 1000000 years anyway.

They're all just ripping off Daft Punk!
Probably not really, but that's always what I think of upon seeing that word.

IIRC there's also out there an M5 ad with the same tag.

Just like Taco Bell copying Jack in the Box's "Ronald McDonald" ads from 20 years ago.
